Dr. Raj Velamoor
A psychiatrist by profession, Dr. Velamoor was raised in Hyderabad, India, and trained in psychiatry in England before emigrating to Canada in 1984. He has held professorships at Cornell University, Northern Ontario School of Medicine, and Western University, and worked at New York Presbyterian Hospital. His clinical career spans India, Canada, the U.S., New Zealand, and Bermuda. He has published over 100 scholarly papers and book chapters, alongside poems and essays in numerous international anthologies.
